One of Ghana’s biggest markets has been gutted by fire. In a devastating start to the year for traders at Kantomanto market in Accra, over 100 shops and all inside were destroyed on Thursday morning as flames ripped through the tightly packed stalls, with many business owners saying they have lost everything. It is still not clear what started the fire. It is not the first time that the overcrowded center has been destroyed by fire. FRANCE 24 correspondent Justice Baidoo has more.
