In France, the country's new prime minister François Bayrou has appointed a new cabinet. It includes some political heavyweights of French politics, such as two former prime ministers, Elisabeth Borne and Manuel Valls. However, the new cabinet is also filled with figures from the French centre-right, as was the last government – again raising the specter of a possible no-confidence vote by the political opposition. Story by Héloïse Mélan and Luke Shrago.
