Gaza’s Civil Defense Agency said an Israeli airstrike killed at least 15 people in the north of the territory on Wednesday, in what it called the first deadly attack of the New Year. Since October 6, the army has carried out a major ground and air offensive in northern Gaza, specifically targeting Jabalia and its adjacent refugee camp.
