Jean Schlumberger, the alsacean -born jewelery stylist who created a jewel for Tiffany & Co, was a good cook. So much that in 1965 he split vogue. It follows that he designed jewelery that looked good enough to eat: large gems, with liquid closed in philo-paste-money environments. And its appetites have echoed mainly in the high collections of this season’s jewelry, where jewelery houses have hired gems for oral watering in wise configurations for delicious effect.
Cartier’s necklace from the third chapter of his nature collection of nature receives inspiration from honeycomb, with yellow and white diamonds that repeat the gloop of dot and a beloved yellow diamond 2.64 carats representing a bee. Meanwhile, Lugano cakes from Rose and Gold white, quartz, diamond and pearl with candy-pink, less resembles a necklace than a plate of strawberry cakes with tonsil climbing from Milan Pasticceria Marchesi 1824. falling in love with the pleasure of a triangle of a triangle of a triangle.
