The Israeli army forced the older man to outline buildings around his neck with an explosive cord before being shot with his wife later.

The Israeli military forced an 80-year-old Palestinian man to act as a human sign in the Gaza by tieding an explosive cord around his neck and threatening to wake his head.

A high -ranking officer of the Nahal Brigade of the army connected the blasting around the man’s neck before being ordered to the scouts. After eight hours, soldiers ordered the man to flee from their home from their house in May during the time of Gaza, said the +972 magazine, who reported the play in cooperation with the hottest place in hell.

When another Israeli battalion discovered the older couple on the street, according to Israeli soldiers who were present at the scene, they were shot in place.

The Israeli soldiers had first met the couple in their house. They said Arab -speaking soldiers that they could not flee to southern Gaza due to mobility difficulties.

But even in his state, the soldiers forced the unnamed 80-year-old to take his stick in front of him while his wife was arrested in her house.

A soldier informed the investigation that the commander had decided to use the Palestinian couple as “mosquitoes” and referred to a process in which the Israeli army forces the Palestinian civilians to serve as human shields in order to serve the Israeli Armed Forces shot from shot or protected in the air.

“He entered every house in front of us, so that if there was (explosives) or a militant interior, he (the hit) would take from us,” said a soldier.

“He was said that the soldier would pull his cord behind him, and his head would be torn out of his body if he did something wrong or not follows.”

The man was forced to act as a human sign for eight hours before he was ordered together with his wife to go to the so -called “humanitarian zone” in southern Gaza in the direction of the so -called “humanitarian zone”.

But the soldiers did not want to communicate near the Israeli divisions that the couple would go through the area according to statements.

“After 100 meters, the other battalion saw her and shot it immediately,” said a soldier. “You died on the street.”

Al Jazera has contacted the Israeli army to get a comment on the reported incident.

In the Israeli armed forces, Palestinian civilians were reported extensively as human shields, although this is prohibited according to international law.

In August, the Israeli Daily Haaretz released that Israeli troops kidnapped Palestinian civilians, dressed them in military uniforms, attached cameras to their bodies and sent them to underground tunnels and buildings to protect Israeli troops.

“(I) t it is difficult to recognize them. They usually wear Israeli army uniforms, many of them are in the 20s and they are always with Israeli soldiers of different rows, ”says Haaretz’s article. But if you take a closer look: “You see that most of them wear sneakers, not army boots. And her hands are tied up behind her back and her faces are fearful. “

In the occupied West Bank in June, the Israeli armed forces connected a wounded Palestinian man to the motor hood of their military jeep, in an obvious use of a human shield.

Francesca Albanese, the special reporting of the United Nations for the occupied Palestinian territory, banged the incident and called him “human shield in action”.

And in January 2024, the 36-year-old Palestinian shop owner Bahaa El-Din Abu Ras told Israeli soldiers in Dura in the occupied West Bank as a human sign for almost two hours.

“So many questions have come to my mind: Will I return to my family? Will I be shot or would a skirt meet? Will I be arrested by these soldiers for any reason? When or how can I be released in the middle of this war zone? “Abu Ras said. “I spent about an hour and a half so, not sure when I would be killed and whether I would ever rest again.”
