An 86-year-old man from Missouri was died just a few days after the guilty indictment against Ralph Yarl, a black honorary student who accidentally rang the doorbell on the doorbell on the doorbell of the white man, the prosecutors shared on Wednesday .

Andrew Lester from Kansas City was charged with the first degree and armed criminal measures at the shootout of the then 16-year-old, who survived and is now a newcomer to Texas A&M University. Before his process should begin, Lester owed himself guilty on Friday about a lower indictment of the second degree, which is up to seven years behind bars for up to seven years.

It should be convicted on March 7th.

Cher Congour, a spokesman for Clay County’s public prosecutor, said Lester’s lawyer informed her about his death.

“We found out about Andrew Lester’s death and spoke his family our sincerely in this difficult time,” said the public prosecutor in a press release. “While the legal proceedings have now been concluded, we acknowledge that Mr. Lester has taken responsibility for his actions by making guilty in this case.”

The press release did not offer any cause of death. The Kansas City police said they had no death examinations. Sarah Boyd, a spokeswoman for the Clay County’s sheriff office, said that she had no information about Lester’s cause of death because he was not in custody, but found that he was at the hearing of last week when hearing last week ” bad health “.

Shooting of the victim’s family ‘tumbling’

In a written explanation on Wednesday, Yarl’s family said that what happened was one of the reasons why they had pushed themselves into a quick procedure.

“Now another black child who has been damaged by prejudice is family roles,” says the explanation.

The case shocked the country and renewed the national debate about weapons policy and races in the United States

Yarl appeared in front of Lester’s front door in the night of April 13, 2023 after mixing the streets on which he was supposed to pick up his twin siblings.

Lester’s lawyer Steve Salmon had argued that Lester acted in self -defense and that he was afraid of the stranger who knocked on his door when he let himself go to bed. According to the authorities, Lester Yarl shot twice: first in the head, then in his arm.

In a hearing, Yarl said that he called the bell and then waited for someone to answer what seemed “longer than normal”. When the inner door opened, he stretched out to the storm door when he was home to his parents’ parents.

He said Lester shot him in his head and said: “Never come back here.” Although the ball does not penetrate Yarl’s brain, the impact threw it onto the floor.

Yarl said Lester then shot him in his arm. The teenager was taken to the hospital and released three days later.

His family said the shootout demanded a great emotional tribute and they had submitted a lawsuit against the retired aircraft mechanic.

The shooter had health, cognitive problems: lawyer

Salmon said last year that Lester’s physical and intellectual state deteriorated. He said Lester had heart problems, a broken hip and was taken to the hospital.

During the hearing of last week, Lester was bent when he was rolling into the courtroom, his hands folded. When asked whether he was in bad health, Lester replied yes.

The judge had previously ordered a mental assessment by Lester, but continued the process after completing the process. The results of this assessment were not published publicly.

Yarl’s shootout was not the only case of false identity with serious consequences this week in the USA

Kaylin Gillis, a 20-year-old woman, was killed by a homeowner in the state of New York on April 15, 2023 after the driver of a vehicle in which she was in the wrong address. When the car turned, Kevin Monahan came out and fired two shots, a Gillis hit.

Monahan, 66 at the time of the conviction last year, received a prison sentence of more than 25 years in prison after he was convicted by a jury that only needed an hour to think about.

" said the public prosecutor in a press release.
