The fire broke a full nightclub on Sunday in the northern Macedonian city of Kocani on Sunday. He killed 59 people and injured more than 100 after Sparks had lit the roof over a live band.
In connection with the fire, four people were arrested, said Minister of the Interior Minister Toshkovski. The state news agency MIA said the police arrested the club’s owner because of the incident.
A video of the event verified by Reuters showed a band that played on stage that was flanked by two torches and fired white sparks into the air, some of which placed the ceiling.
The fire caused immediate panic, and friends and relatives were separated when people fled to the outputs.
“Everyone tried to save themselves,” said Survivor Marija Taseva, 22, to Local TV 5.
When she tried to flee, Taseva fell to the ground and the people ran over her and left her on her cheek with an injury. In the hurry she lost contact with sister who is still missing.
“We cannot find them in any hospital,” she said.
Minors among the injuries
Health Minister Arben Taravari said 148 people were hospitalized in Skopje, Kocani and the surrounding cities. Eighteen people were critically injured, said Taravari.
North Macedonia’s public broadcaster reported that 27 people in the Skopje City Hospital were hospitalized with severe burns and that a further 23 were treated in a clinical center. There were minors among the injured.
The fire that started around 3 a.m. was caused by “pyrotechnic devices”, the sparks of which triggered the fire, said Toshkovski.
Ljupco Kocevski, public prosecutor of North Macedonia, said five prosecutors would examine the incident.
“At the moment, orders for the collection of evidence have been granted”, and some people were interviewed, said Kocevski without working out.

Firefighters poured the charred and smoking entrance to the pulse night club when the ambulances stormed out of the scene, a local station showed television recordings. Reuters Pictures showed that the club’s corrugated iron roof burned through and broken together at places, its inner wood beams were exposed and blackened.
Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said on Facebook: “This is a difficult and very sad day for Macedonia! The loss of so many young life is irreparable, the pain of families, relatives and friends is immeasurable.”
After the North Macedonian President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova was injured in a hospital in Skopje, he dressed black and against tears against tears. The authorities are ready to do everything to help all those affected.
