Australia has prepared for a rare tropical cyclone of the east coast, which swirled in the direction of Brisbane, the third most common city.
Sturm warnings on Wednesday stretched over millions of people in the states of Queensland and New South Wales by more than 500 kilometers in the states of Queensland and New South Wales.
From Thursday afternoon, destructive wind gusts of up to 155 km/h were able to develop, and the tropical cyclone Alfred is expected to end up on Friday morning near Brisbane, Queensland’s capital, as a storm of category 2.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said that heavy helicopters were used and offered to “provide the resources required for the state governments”.
Many residents left their houses when the authorities open up evacuation centers. Sand bags are scarce and supermarket shelves were gutted when people fit in with the most necessary.
Southeast Queensland and Northern New South Wales were recently hit by a cyclone more than half a century in 1974. The last time that a Brisbane cyclone threatened in 1990, but the system south, just before he reached the city.
The schools in Southeast Queensland will close and public transport will be closed on Thursday and Friday.
A total of 122 schools in the north of New South Wales are closed on Wednesday and Thursday, and residents in need of protection are asked to move until Thursday morning, said New South Wales Premier Chris Minns.
“We have to bunker down in the next 48 hours and have a very difficult time,” he told reporters.
Qantas said it canceled a number of flights from Southeast Queensland and North -New South Wales, and in the coming days there were probably more.
