Here is the situation on Tuesday, March 11:

Battle

  • A civilian was killed and three more have been reported to one of the largest Ukrainian drone attacks on Moscow for months.
  • The mayor of Moscow Sergei Sebyanin said that Russian air defense units had destroyed at least 69 drones who fly to Moscow in a “massive” attack, in which reports later participated more than 90 drones.
  • Four airports in the Moscow region and the Domodedovo train network were forced to suspend services due to the attack. Several apartments were also damaged, while the Russian Tass news agency in a parking lot near the Russian capital reported a big fire.
  • Pro-Russian war bloggers said that the Kremlin arms forces continued to go into the country’s Course Region as part of a large conversion surgery in order to sell thousands of Ukrainian soldiers in Russia.
  • Kyiv’s top general Oleksandr Syrskii denied that his troops were surrounded by Russian armed forces, and added that the situation was under control. However, the Ukrainian troops had to be reinforced, “including electronic warfare and unmanned components,” said Syrskii.

  • Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the US Foreign Minister Marco Rubio traveled to Saudi Arabia before the talks between Kyiv and Washington to end the Russian war against Ukraine.
  • The AFP news agency, citing a Ukrainian official, said Kyiv plans, while the talks in Saudi Arabia have a part of a part of the air and navals with Russia.
