US President Donald Trump will hold the first joint congress address of his second term on Tuesday evening.
There is talk six weeks after Trump’s presidency, since his administration accepts the federal government’s authorities, affects illegal immigration, considering controversy about wars in Ukraine and Gaza and punishing the tariffs for trading partners.
On Monday, Trump said that he would continue with a long -term 25 percent on Canadian goods, more effectively midnight on Tuesday and that it could do nothing to stop it, despite the measures that Ottawa took to secure the common border of the countries.
What Trump will specifically speak is a question of speculation, but the common speech is usually an opportunity for the president to set his priorities for the year.
This differs from a state of the Union that will look back annually to the year and the success of the administration.
The speech takes place in the house chamber, which is large enough to accommodate the legislators and other officials of the Senate. The Republicans have majorities in both the House of Representatives and the Senate.
In his joint address from 2017 after his first election, Trump focused on the cancellation and replacement of the law on affordable care, the tax reform, the reduction of regulation, the structure of the military and the procedure against illegal immigration.
