Chinese jets say that the Canadian warship is exceeded by the Taiwan road to change the course.

Taiwan discovered 24 Chinese military aircraft near the island when a Canadian warship runs through the sensitive Taiwan road, according to the Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense.

The Chinese airplanes included fighter planes and drones and were discovered on Sunday to carry out “joint fighting patrols” with military ships around Taiwan, the Ministry said in a statement.

China’s military has strived through the Taiwaner Strait and warned him to change the course, reported the media in Taiwan.

The HMCs Ottawa of the Halifax class was the first Canadian naval ship, which is enforcing the Wasserstrasse this year, the Taiwan State Department said. The transit took place after two US ships, a marine destroyer and a survey ship, had done the passage.

The USA and its allies regularly go through the Taiwan road of 180 km (112 miles) to strengthen its status as an international waterway, the China.

The US destrever and Ocean Survey Ship traveled through the street from Monday and pulled criticism from the Chinese military, which said that it sent the “wrong signal and increased security risks”.

Data published by the Taiwanese Ministry of Defense showed that 62 Chinese military aircraft near the island were detected near the island on Wednesday (22:00 GMT on Tuesday) and fell together with the transit of the US ships.

Washington’s youngest round through the Taiwaner Strait was the first time since the office of US President Donald Trump in January.

After Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba said they had “attempts to change the status quo (in the Taiwanian street) by force or compulsion”.

To be solved peacefully “cross -carrier differences”

Like most countries, the United States has no formal diplomatic relationships with Taiwan, but are the strongest international supporter and offer military help to the island to maintain its defense skills.

While Trump has contested Taiwan since taking office with the criticism of Taiwan’s dominance in the manufacture of semiconductors, his government has also offered strong support words.

The government of Taiwan rejects Beijing’s sovereignty claims across the island and says that only Taiwan’s people can decide their future. Taiwan says it is an independent country called Republic China.

Beijing describes Taiwan as the “core of the core interests” and regularly condemns any support for Taipei from Washington.

On Thursday, the US State Department removed an explanation on its website on which Taiwan’s independence is not supported.

A reference was also added on the website of Taiwan’s cooperation with a Pentagon technology and semiconductor development project. The United States will support Taiwan’s membership in international organizations.

“We reject all one -sided changes to the status quo from both sides,” says the updated website of the Foreign Ministry.

“We assume that the differences between the transitions will be solved in a peaceful way, free of coercion, in a way that is acceptable for people on both sides of the (Taiwan) Strait.”

The Taiwanese Foreign Minister Lin Chialung “welcomed the support and positive attitude to US-Taiwanese relationships in the relevant content of the website,” said his ministry in a declaration on Sunday.

The language changes were first reported by the official central news agency Taiwan on Sunday.

The formulation of Taiwan’s independence was also removed in 2022 before restored a month later.
