A mechanism supported by the United States to spread help in Gaza should soon come into force, said Washington ambassador in Israel on Friday before President Donald Trump’s visit to the Middle East, but only gave a few details.
The residents of Gaza are faced with a growing humanitarian crisis, whereby Israel enforced months of blockade for aids to the small Palestinian enclave in the third year of their war against the militant group of Hamas.
Ambassador Mike Huckabee said that several partners had already undertaken to participate in the auxiliary order, but rejected them to name them and said details were published in the coming days.
“There was a good initial answer,” the former Republican governor told reporters at the message in Jerusalem.
“There are non -profit organizations that will be part of the tour,” he said, adding that other organizations and governments should also be involved, if not Israel.
A new group called Gaza Humanitrian Foundation supported in the USA has submitted a auxiliary distribution plan in accordance with the requirements of Israel after the documents received by the Associated Press. The group consists of American security entrepreneurs, former government officials, former military officers and humanitarian civil servants.
It was not immediately clear whether this was the plan to refer to Huckabee. But auxiliary workers said that the creation of the group did little to alleviate their concerns.
Hamas Senior Official Basem said that the plan was almost “the Israeli vision of militarizing help” and said that he would fail and warns at the same time to become “tools in the schemes of the Zionist occupation”.
Trump, who is striving for a pioneering deal in which Israel and Saudi Arabia would build diplomatic relationships, will visit Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates next week.
Anticipation has built up a new auxiliary plan for Gaza, which was destroyed by 19 months of an Israeli military campaign against Hamas, which destroyed a large part of the infrastructure and has replaced most of its 2.3 million inhabitants several times.
“It will not be perfect, especially in the early days,” said Huckabee. “It is a logistical challenge to do this work.”
Israel has approved a plan to intensify military operations against Hamas by confiscating Gaza strip, building new bases and is not specified. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the population of Gaza was moved south. An earlier version of this video contained the wrong number of hostages.
Upcoming famine that the population confronts: Un
European leaders and auxiliary groups have criticized a plan of Israel for private companies in order to adopt humanitarian distributions and to expand their military campaign in the enclave.
Israel has accused of agencies, including the United Nations of giving help in the hands of Hamas, which allegedly confiscated the supplies intended for civilians, and handed them over to their own forces or sold them to collect donations – something that Hamas has contested.
Israel has prevented the help of entering the Gaza Strip since they were broken against an armistice with Hamas in March, which triggered the UN warnings before the upcoming famine among the population.

Islam Hajjaj says that her six -year -old daughter Najwa suffers from severe malnutrition due to the blockade. According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, Najwa is one of about tens of thousands of children who show signs of malnutrition.
Hajjaj said her daughter weighed about 22 pounds before the war. Now she weighs £ 15 and underweight for her age.
“She became a human skeleton,” Hajjaj told CBC News on Friday.
“The war has made its situation worse.
Children in Gaza show signs of acute malnutrition because the auxiliary blocks of Israel extends to the third month. Israel has announced that the aids are distributed in the coming weeks and has approved plans to record the entire Gaza strip for an unspecified time.
Criticism of auxiliary plans
Trump had annoyed a great announcement before the trip. It was unclear whether Huckabee announced on Friday.
“The Israelis will be involved in the provision of the necessary military security because it is a war zone, but they will not be involved in the distribution of the food or even the spread of food in Gaza strips,” Huckabee told a press conference.
When asked whether the help offers were dependent on a ceasefire that was restored, Huckabee said: “Humanitarian aid does not depend on our ability to bring the food to Gaza Strip.”
The United Nations Children’s Fund (Unicef) criticized the plans to take over the distribution of help in Gaza Strip on Friday, which was floating from both Israel and the United States, and said this would increase suffering for children and families.
In the auxiliary community, a proposal for a humanitarian foundation in Gaza circulates that would distribute food from four “safe sales locations”, which are similar by Israel at the beginning of this week, but criticizes that this would effectively deteriorate the shift in the Gaza population.
Huckabee said there would be an “initial number” of sales centers that could “have over a million people” before they are scaled to ultimately reach two million.
“Private Security” would be responsible for the security of employees who go into the sales centers and the distribution of the food themselves, Huckabee said and refused to comment on the rules for the security personnel.
“Everything would happen in accordance with international law,” he said.
The mediation efforts of the United States, Qatar and Egypt have not successful a second phase of the ceasefire. Israel demands the total disarmament of Hamas, which rejects the Islamist group.
Hamas said it was ready to free all the remaining hostages that were confiscated by her armed men on October 7, 2023 in the municipalities in southern Israel, and agree to a permanent ceasefire when Israel withdraws completely from the Gaza.
The attacks led by the Hamas on October 7, 2023 killed 1,200 people and, according to the Israeli, 251 were hosted as hostage to Gaza Strip. According to the health authorities, the campaign of Israel has killed more than 52,000 Palestinians, mainly civilians.
