The US President Donald Trump proposed on Friday that the delivery of Ukraine of potential additional defense support would test their willingness to do an unprofitable invasion of his borders by Russia, which has entered a fourth year.
“I have to know that they want to settle. I don’t know that they want to settle,” said Trump on Friday, when asked by a reporter why he would not consider Ukraine with air defense if Washington held military support with Kyiv.
“If you don’t want to settle, we are out because we want you to settle down. And I do it to stop death.”
Air defendants are critical instruments for Ukraine, although those they have are less capable of stopping the division of intelligence with Kyiv in a decision of the United States -which comes in addition to a parallel break in the US military aid.
“The Ukrainians have their own options to recognize incoming rockets,” Justin Bronk, Senior Research Fellow with the Royal United Services Institute Think-Tank to Great Britain Channel 4 News.
“Of course, early warning before the start and ideally a good understanding of about what time and from which direction a threat appears to be likely to significantly improve the effectiveness of a certain air defense system,” he said.
Trump repeatedly emphasized the number of deaths of the entire war between Russia and Ukraine, which began when Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the full invasion of the borders of Ukraine in February 2022.
Since then, thousands of Ukrainian civilians have been killed by Russian bombs, drones, shelling and rockets, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that more than 45,000 Ukrainian soldiers had died when they defended their country. Both numbers can be under food.
Mark Rutte, head of NATO, said in October that Russia killed or wounded more than 600,000 soldiers in the all-out war at that time.
US print on Ukraine
The Trump administration has strengthened the pressure on Ukraine and found that the conflict is quickly set.
U.S. Foreign Minister Marco Rubio spoke to his Ukrainian counterpart on Friday and confirmed that Trump “is determined to end the war as soon as possible,” said the US State Department in a statement.
But when the Trump administration was towards this goal, it has the Ukraine much more public than the country that started the invasion – a trend that continued on Friday.
US President Donald Trump, who spoke to Michael Waltz, his national security advisor, about the state of war in Ukraine, said that Russian President Vladimir Putin wants to peace, even if Russia “bombies” hell from Ukraine and adds that he falls “more difficult” to deal with Ukraine than Russia.
“To be honest, I find it more difficult to deal with Ukraine,” said Trump, who previously suggested that Ukraine was responsible for the conflict.
A contradictory element of Trump’s communications on Friday, however, came from a social media post, which pointed out that he “strongly” considered sanctions against Russia in order to urge himself on a ceasefire and “final settlement agreement about peace”.
The major tensions between Washington and Kyiv also included a public dressing from the Ukrainian president when he visited the White House a week ago.
US officials have also urged Kyiv to agree to give the USA access to desirable minerals that are buried under Ukrainian soil in order to have taken Trump as “compensation” for the help granted by Washington.
Trump from all of this ended Putin’s isolation – first arranged a call with him and then with Russia about the end of the war, but without the initial participation of Ukraine.
The break from the US military aid and the secret service with Ukraine came recently.
In the middle of these changes, Russia attacked Ukraine on Friday with a new rocket and drone attack on the Ukrainian gas and energy infrastructure.
“They bomb hell from Ukraine,” said Trump, who also explained that he believed that Putin wants peace.

“I think we are doing very well with Russia,” said Trump, who predicted that “it might be easier to deal with Russia” when trying to end the war.
Nevertheless, Zelenskyy said that he will travel to Saudi Arabia next week, where talks will take place between American and Ukrainian officials.
“Ukraine is ready to follow the path to peace,” said Zelenskyy on Friday in the telegram.
Roderic Lyne, a former diplomat who acted as President as President as a British ambassador in Russia in Putin early years, said Zelenskyy has now “done everything from the United States”.
“If the Ukrainians had stopped fighting the Russians tomorrow,” said Lyne to Times Radio.
“The Russians have started, the Russians can stop it – literally finger the click of Putin.”
Fresh attack on the infrastructure
The Ukraine Energy Minister said on Friday that the Russian armed forces had targeted Ukraine’s energy and gas infrastructure in the first large-scale attack by Russia since the suspension of their military aid and their intelligence participation.
Regional civil servants from the northeastern city of Kharkiv to the western city of Ternopil stated to damage energy and other infrastructures. Eight people were injured in Kharkiv and two others were injured in Poltava in Central Lucraine, officials said.
“Russia continues its energy count,” said the Ukrainian Minister of Energy German Galushchenko on Facebook and quoted “massive rocket and drone fire” against energy and gas infrastructure in various Ukrainian regions.
According to Ukraine’s Air Force, Russia fired a volley of 67 rockets and 194 drones in the overnight attack and added that it shot about half of the blocking fire.
Ukraine used French Mirage 20000 fighter planes a month ago to ward off the attack, said the Air Force.
Zelenskyy called for an armistice in the air and at sea as well as additional pressure on Russia.
“The first steps to create a real peace should be to force the only source of this war, Russia, to stop such attacks,” he said in Telegram.
The Russian Ministry of Defense said that its armed forces had carried out strikes with long-distance air, sea and land-based precision weapons against what it described as gas and energy infrastructure to support the “military-industrial complex of Ukraine”.
The Ukraine introduction to Kursk was threatened
On the other hand, thousands of the Ukrainian troops, who stormed into the Russia’s Course region in a shock last summer, almost surrounded by Russian armed forces, the Kyiv in a big blow, which hoped to use his presence there as a lever over Moscow in all peace talks.
The situation of Ukraine in Kursk has worsened in the last three days how OpenSource cards have withdrawn the territory as part of a meeting with the counter -offensive of the meeting, which the Ukrainian troop almost shortened in two parts and separated the main group from its main care lines.
The precarious situation raises the possibility that the forces of Ukraine exist to a politically unpleasant and mentally difficult retreat to their country or danger of being caught or killed.
“The situation is very bad,” said Pasi Paroins, a military analyst at the Black Bird Group, which is based in Finland, which analyzes satellite data, to Reuters.
“Now there is not much left for the Ukrainian armed forces either or forced to retreat. And the withdrawal would mean leading a dangerous glove in which the armed forces are constantly threatened by Russian drones and artillery,” he said.
Open Source mapping by Deep State, a relevant Ukrainian military blogging resource, showed on Friday that about three quarters of the Ukrainian team in Russia had now been almost completely surrounded.
There was no official confirmation from the Russian thrust of the Ministry of Defense or the Ukrainian military.
