Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has been thrown for Sunday match at the Premier League against Newcastle United.
Onana made two mistakes on Thursday, while Ruben Amorim’s team was held in a 2-2 draw by Lyon in the first match of their Europa League quarter-finals.
International Cameroon has played every minute of Manchester United Premier League matches since joining the club in 2023, but has remained out of the squad for Of Sunday Super I bump and has not traveled to Tyneside.
He is set to be replaced by Altay Bayindir, who has played only six times to date this season.
Sky Sports News Understands Amorim wants Onana to have a rest period and clean her head after a hard time in and out of the field.

Understandably Onana can be remembered for her second match against Lyon at Old Trafford on Thursday.
Onana attracts criticism in the Word Fighting with Matic
Onana went on for criticism before the first Europa League match against Lyon after former united player Nemanja Matic described her as “one of the worst goalkeepers in Man United’s history”.
The 29-year-old, who had prompted Matic’s response claiming that his team was “better” than their French opponents, did little to extinguish the titles allowing the free blow of Thiago Almada to find the net and then hit George Micawadze on Rayan Cherki’s trail and the last 2-2 time.
Amorim defended his goalkeeper after the game, saying he remained “really safe” in the player, but has chosen to make a change against Magpies.

Onana joined Manchester United from Inter Milan for about 47 million in in 2023, going to win the FA Cup in his first season.
