Former world title Anthony Yarde warrant warned Ben Whittaker it is soon for the Olympic silver medalist to take it into a professional war.
Yarde will end a trilogy with Lyndon Arthur in the Undercard of Chris Eubank Jr’s Clash with Conor Benn, Live on Sky arce office.
He hopes that one victory would position him for another run in a world title fight, but he would consider Whittaker Boxing.
“Sure, but I don’t think it’s a smart decision for any of their parts. This is just my humble opinion. I feel like it is a little or very soon. Some other fights, I feel like it will make more sense,” Yarde said Heavenly.
“If I was to fight Ben Whittaker now, I’m just honest, it would be too early for him. It would be too early for him. That’s my opinion. Because I think I can beat anyone in the world. Eachdo at the world level, I’m always better back.
“The reason for this is because I have always learned at work. Sometimes, most cases, my explosion has been my experience. So I feel like my experience is making me better every time.”
But he added: “Although someone is in my weight class, it means nothing to me. I am one of those people who support what Ben Whittaker was doing because he was going viral, he was giving a lot of attention to boxing and I like all that they show.”
Whittaker has a great war a week before the next Yarde period. The Olympic Medal of Silver will punish Liam Cameron on Sunday April 20, live on Heavenly.
Their first war came to an end to shock when both Whittaker and Cameron collapsed from the ring in the fifth round and the period ended as a technical withdrawal of decisions.
Yarde, though he believes that if Whittaker adheres to his learned style of show, he can beat Cameron in the match.
“I think Ben Whittaker will be better this time,” Yarde said. “He was not himself. I was in Heavenly Studio seeing that war and I said it, that’s not him. He is very serious. This is not him.
“He blooms on the show, similar to Naseem Hamed. He is not Naseem Hamed but Naseem Hamed flourished by being Naseem hamed. What is encountered as a show and dance, this is part of the style.
“So when he tries to be serious, he is another warrior. An completely different warrior and then Cameron’s style was wrong for him that night.”
Yarde continued: “But I think if he is himself, he is ardent, (he can win). Which will be difficult to do because the first war, many are saying it was a police officer outside and Cameron was coming to actually win the war.
“So for him to come out and tell now, he will get a very strong mentality.
“This is when he is at his best in my opinion. It is dangerous, but then this is the style he chose. Casedly very dangerous. Depending on who you are there with it can be very dangerous.
“But for a warrior like him I am sure he will motivate him. So I say, be yourself.”
