“To reach this level is the best step forward to get to where I want to be with Aston Villa.
“We competed well in the first game, but not enough. We were even better today and near the return. The last step ahead is still (missing), and this is the only one (aspect) I want (to work) for our process.”
Villa is now facing a brief twist before another important collision as they wait for the other Champions League Champions Champions Newcastle, Live in Sky SportsThis Saturday. Magpies currently sit in fourth place, two points in front of the villa in the seventh, with a game in hand.

“I want a club with the same challenges as I have – adding more quality players if we need it – so proud of these players, sure we will get our goals until the last game we will face.”
McGinn: We’ve made a long way
Villa’s captain began the resurrection of the second half after traveling deeply in half PSG and fired in the upper corner. He insists, despite being out of the competition, the team may be proud of their efforts and the journey they were in.
McGinn signed for Villa from Hibernian in 2018 and played a major role in raising them from the second level of English football to compete with the European elite.
“Notable disappointment but I’m proud of my teammates, proud of the club,” he told him Amazon Prime Minister. “We’ve made a long way. We were so, so close tonight. We just got a little short.

“We want more. We want to go back here next season and we’ll try to do our best to do it.”
When asked about what Emery said in half the time, when his team was still staring at the barrel of a 5-2 deficit in the aggregate, McGinn added: “He said,” I’m proud of performance, continue, you never know. “
“We never gave up. It was chaos, but we gave absolutely everything and I think every supporter of Aston Villa will leave with a great sense of pride.”
KONSA: We will come back!
Konsa echoed the claims made by the manager and his captain, while also referring to the opportunity he lost when Marcus Rashford’s cross was lit in the face of the goal, but the defender failed to make the necessary link from the point range.
“I’m proud of boys,” Kona said. “The two goals at first killed us, but we showed great confidence and character to return to it. We won the second match, but it wasn’t enough.
“In half of the time we felt we had nothing to lose. We wanted to go out there and try a point. We had chances, I think I scored more difficult. I don’t think we could have done anymore. I lost the ball (for headache), it happens.
“Donnarumma made some excellent savings. We showed tonight we can compete at the highest level and want to do it next season again.”
Enrique: PSG have not been dominated in this way before
PSG boss, Luis Enrique, accepted Villa inspired performance and even claimed that he had not seen a team “prevail” his side in the way before traveling to the Midlands West.
“I don’t think this team is dominated by a team in this way, but the opponent had to take risks because they were leaving the competition.
“They attacked with real intensity and in front of a big crowd too. We will improve with this experience.
“I was not happy at the end of the first half. We were playing at a level that was not suitable for the Champions League. Then in the second half, we were really suffering and Villa had the chance to equalize.”
