Burnley’s Scott Parker:
“We’ve lost some good chances. That’s clear. I’m more glad we’ve had those great chances, in the right positions, that conviction for us, not hiding, placing ourselves on the offer to Lost that chance is essential to me as a coach.
“There is definitely pressure on us and there has been pressure on us throughout the season, this is a very new team, and I have mentioned many times some players are playing a full season in the championship for the first time. The reception is obviously Great and we are 18 invincible, another clean sheet, we won another football match in the championship, so it’s nothing but positive. “
Oxford’s Gary Rowett:
“They had some good opportunities (early) they should have probably scored ahead of the goal, and the goal ends up being one of their most at risk. I was probably disappointed, but I can’t say it had not been coming. But We thought we had periods in the game and we carried a threat, and we hanged in the game.
“I thought we followed the game reasonably well, we got in some good areas, we put them under pressure and made it a little nervous without creating that great moment, where you would say we had to get something from the game.
“I do not necessarily think that it would have been right in Burnley’s performance, so this is the other evolution of our performance. I think we have shown that we can compete in this division.”
