Jessica Camara believes she can upset WBC world bantamweight champion Caroline Dubois when they fight on Saturday, live on Sky Sports.
Camara is no stranger to spring surprises. She handed former world champion Hyun Mi Choi her first defeat on points over 10 rounds in Korea last year.
“I like big fights and I like challenges,” Camara said.
The Canadian may have suffered four defeats in her 18-month professional career, but Choi isn’t the only famous female boxer to beat. Camara also previously defeated American star Heather Hardy.
“I believe I’m special. I’ve done things the hardest way in my career and I’m proud of that. I believe I’ll come out on top on Saturday,” Camara said.
But Dubois fired immediately. She was unimpressed by Camara’s win over Choi.
“Not at all. Choi, I think a lot of girls were gunning for him for a reason,” said the Londoner.
She told Camara directly: “Credit to you, but I’m not Choi, I would have stopped Choi, I would have knocked him out and I intend to do the same against you on Saturday.
“It will not be a challenge, it will be a mountain to overcome.
“I’m here, I’m coming, I’m at 135 pounds and that’s my division.”

Also on Saturday’s bill in Sheffield, Callum Simpson will defend his British and Commonwealth super middleweight titles against dangerous challenger Steed Woodall.

Callum Simpson has opened up about the tragic loss of his 19-year-old sister, who died on holiday just weeks after winning his last fight at Oakwell.
Simpson won his belts on a memorable night at the Oakwell Stadium in his hometown of Barnsley when he defeated Zak Chelli.
Woodall, however, impressively knocked out the talented Lerrone Richards and will be a threat on Saturday when they box at the Canon Medical Arena in Sheffield.
The champion, however, is promising a display of “Yorkshire grit”.
“Every war is a war to be won,” Simpson said. “Every fight we try and level up.
“I wanted to defend my British and Commonwealth titles and Steed was up there as the toughest fight and that’s what I wanted.
“I can’t wait to prove that I’m the real deal.”
