Cindy Ngamba, the boxing star to get out of the Olympics last summer, is making her professional debut on Friday, March 7 Heavenly.
Ngamba made history in Paris 2024 when he became the first member of the refugee team ever to secure an Olympic medal.
She won the middleweight bronze in Roland Garros, opening her tour with a victory over the world’s reign champion and joining a sequence of impressive shows.
Ngamba will enter a good level for the first time in favor, Kirsie Bavington’s boxing, the former European light champion that went 10 rounds with Lauren Price in the inauguration of British women’s titles.
They will enter the under -the Unification of the Natasha Jonas VS Lauren Price’s world title at the Royal Albert Hall on March 7.
The ambitions are high that will take place in a world -class professional, who can ultimately fight her way to a confrontation with Claresa Shields.
America’s Shields is one of the leading figures in women’s boxing, an indisputable medium -sized champion that was thrown through the compartments to harvest all strips in heavy weight as well.
Boxer’s promoter Ben Shalom believes that Ngamba has all the potential to move straight to the highest era of sports.
“She is a phenomenal talent. She brings something different from women’s boxing. She has taken a little bad thing for her, she’s broken,” Shalom told Ngamba.
“I think it will suit the good. If there is ever a warrior it will suit the good it will be,” he said Heavenly.
“We thought who can get in the mix with savannah (Marshall) and Claresa in the Middle Weight Division, there are not many elite, elite fighters. It may be what continues to achieve massive things in professional sport. For me I am already thinking of what time we can go and get that Claresa Shields.
“That’s the goal. We have to build it. Make sure it gets all the support, the right opponents. She is a phenomenal talent, but, as I say, it will suit the excess.”
An eventual collision with Shield eventually – “This is the purpose”.
Shalom said: “Everyone always said that no one can get close to Claresa Shields. I believe Savannah Marshall can be in a match in heavyweight sharing. I believe Lauren Price can get there and I believe now Cindy Ngamba too.
“Cindy and Lauren Spar a lot. It is a phenomenal talent, it really is and what story too. It is’ great because it is so, so unique and different and it will be a welcome addition to this sport.”
