Thomas Tuchel should win the World Cup next summer if he wants to be England’s long -term manager.
Tuchel has signed a short -term contract which began in January and goes to the end of the 2026 World Cup final.
Extension every contract extension is likely to depend on the team of England men who wins a large first trophy since 1966 – or going extremely close.
Tuchel is seen as a rental weapon which is brought to secure the main triumph of the tournament that Gareth Southgate approached to submit.
Southgate was a figure and ambassador for English football during his eight years at the helm.
He took on a leading role in all aspects of work while Tuchel’s only concentration is working with the old team to win the World Cup.
Priority No 1 of the Armed Forces in their 2024-28 strategy is to win another high international tour as the women’s team won Euro 2022.
Under Southgate, England reached the Euro final finals – in 2021 and 2024 – and a 2018 World Cup semifinal.
Southgate is believed to have participated in any game after he resigned as England manager eight months ago.
Tuchel officially started working at the beginning of the year, but he was also in the qualifying draw of the FIFA World Cup at Zurich on December 13.
Before his first team appointment in England on Friday, Tuchel lived in London and he has offices in Wembley Stadium and St. George’s Park.
The chief executive of the FA Mark Bullingham said last week that he was pleased with the fact that Tuchel would only sign contracts for two-year cycles.
Tuchel admitted at his press conference in October that his target was to win the World Cup and put a second star in the England shirt. He has won three league titles as a manager – two in Paris Saint -Germain, one in Bayern Munich – and the Champions League with Chelsea in 2021.
