The Merseyside derby between Everton and Liverpool has been rescheduled for Wednesday, February 12 after the first leg at Goodison Park was postponed due to adverse weather conditions caused by Storm Darragh.

The match, originally scheduled for December 7, will be the last Merseyside derby at Goodison Park before Everton move to their new Bramley-Moore Dock stadium next season.

The new date will depend on Arne Slott’s side finishing in the top eight of the Champions League – Liverpool currently top the new 36-club table.

This would guarantee them a place in the round of 16, meaning they will skip the knockout rounds scheduled to be played on February 11/12 and February 18/19.
