Jamie Lynch gives his verdict to 22 runners before William Hill Lincoln in Doncaster, Live in Racing Sky Sports.
We are a little lighter at the top end than usually for one -mile handicap – due to 3.35 o’clock on Saturday – with only four of the rated 100+ runners.
Sometimes there are double that, although what is known and the fuel for the fire is that over a third of the field are four years old, most of whom still have improvement in them, without change magical ingredient for a Lincoln winner.
Let them dive into the Doncaster lineup ….
1. Galleron (Draw 11)
Jockey: Jason Watson | Trainer: Charlie Hills
This horse spent time in groups as a three year old and spent last year in Australia for Annabel Neash, without success. He is still hitting levels to win him high weight in this reunion with Charlie Hills and will go a great price for one of his skills, but there are many assumptions to support him.
2. Sean (9)
William Carver | Jamie Osborne
Sean has been in the twilight area since he moved from Germany at the beginning of last year, finding a little more group races and his slightly high handicap. This was engulfed by his latest style in Dubai, and a mile is probably on the short side for him here.
3. Midnight weapon (13)
James Doyle | Hamad al Jehani
The coach is still an unknown name, though Hamad al Jehani had a 20 percent strike rate in his first season in Britain, as a stable boutique for Wathnan. Otherwise Gun Midnight has exactly the profile you gravitate towards a lincoln, being a four -year -old well educated with a class touch and a few miles per hour. The handicapper could have been tougher for his racing test on this course and the last distance when it was clear to Harper’s ferry.
4. Run Thunder (19)
Clifford Lee | Karl Burke
Looking back, it is a rarer phenomenon than I had thought of in Lincoln – Penittent and AddeyBb the only two centuries – but if there is the horse’s horse in a handicap in this renovation, then it is thunder. He did not debut until last June and ended up ending a good fourth as a favorite for a balm who went more on the path of those patiently riding.
One warning word is that Karl Burke pointed out “some niggles” for Run Thunder, so the logical jump is that he may not be close close to this.
5. Two seductive (10)
ROB HORNBY | Jonathan Portman
This runner was one of the 2024 handicappers with his five victories of increasing importance, but has inevitably paid a price with his sign. This would be a noticeable and persistent obstacle even if he comes from his fifth in the Wolverhampton trial.
6. APIARIST (7)
Tom Eaves | Kevin Ryan
The apiariist ran well without full reward in seven months and eight races on the ground last year before the transformation return throughout the weather, in which he is increasingly powerful, boasting three of the five winter. Question – or moreover doubt – is whether the improvement is transferable to the field where its rating has increased in line (also 1lb bad in a penalty).
7. Double identity (1)
Brandon Wilkie (5) | William Knight
Migration showed that seven -year -olds can win Lincoln, though the first for 36 years, although age is only a dual identity number that was better than ever in 2024. He always needs some jogging and saves his successes for Sandown nowadays.
8. ORNE (4)
Luke Catton (5) | John and Thady Gosden
This test presents another shift of emphasis on him, not just because this will be his first handicap. His appreciation has fallen from his peak of 103 around this time last year, but even after he has run up to a mile after his last four runs over six furlongs, at the top of a four-month vacation. It is difficult to know where it fits into the world.
9. Lattam (12)
Ryan Sexton | Julie Camacho
Although it has become a lot (by me) for the value of the elderly four years old, the last three winners of Lincoln have been older horses with many ‘previous’ in such races-as Lattam, last year’s racing and winner of Irish Lincoln in 2023. he. In short, Lattam speaks of himself, and these are just the handicaps in which he raises his voice.
10. Toimy Son (18)
Warren Frtiman (5) | David Menyisier
Toimy Son contested the group of the group in his new days in France and, after taking his time by acclimating, he was resurrected in the second half of last year. He ended the third in Cambridgeshire and the sixth in Balmoral but the yard does not yet have a winner this year (out of only 13 efforts) even though he won this with the migration which was also the riding seeker.
11. Cracker Whip (8)
Finley Marsh | Richard Hughes
All the reasons he was all the rage for Lincoln’s trial is still in the game here, and Wolverhampton did not approach at the end of it as the race went. He is still serving a goal for this main event and the biggest hits of his three -year career – including Jayarebe and Bolster – gives him a great chance here 97.
12. Fantastic fox (17)
Aidan Keeley | Varian
Probably perhaps no coincidence that his last three victories have come to the comprehensive weather. He is more comfortable and clinical on that surface, but even in synthetics he has never gained a high sign. I would say he is against him.
13. Mr. Professor (22)
David Egan | Raphael Freire
The AMO Racing runner was the winner of the left field Lincoln last year (33/1) when the very testing terrain brought his durability. We saw nothing from him in the rest of the season and he is still 4Lb higher now, on Earth nothing as the same.
14. Great work (16)
Harry Davies | Simon and Ed Crisford
He has been busy in Dubai, winning a handicap who went on his way (from the back), but taking a penalty on it as a result, looking for another level that I am not sure is in it, and he is mainly kept away from the light ground.
15. Oliver Show (15)
Billy Loughnane | George Boughey
He grew up and grew up last year after joining George Boughey and continued his good work in Bahrain after managing the second in a race listed there earlier during the month. However, he is disabled in Hilt, and he has never been in a race like Lincoln before.
16. Godwinson (3)
Corden Fallon | Haggas Haggas
A potential guy if only to sustain he represents, William Haggas has won Lincoln four times. Above him, he testified a match in these hottest handicaps last year and it is worth remembering that he should have won the spring cup for the first time. This will only be his 10th race, but the wheels of progress had stopped returning until the end of last year.
17. Cross Alpha (20)
RHYS CLUTTERBUK | Gary and Josh Moore
Gary’s accusation and Josh Moore ended up the fourth in this on 28/1 on its reappearance in 2024 and returns the more realized this year, but the softer the land, the better its chance, and the desired crash is not materialized.
18. Local Warrior (21)
Kieran Shoemark | Karl Burke
Kieran Shoemark Mountain is a dream of a profiler for Lincoln, and what is still at the forefront of the mind is how excellent he ran to direct Britain when the third (29) but the first in his group. But for a steady attack Thunder Run and Midnight Midnight Gun, the attention of the attention can be even brighter in the newlywed local warrior. It has the potential and the origin (by Wootton Bassett) to be slightly better than 93.
19. Prayer (2)
Rossa Ryan | Tony Martin
No one has succeeded, but from my Chazzesmee calculation last year is the only one who tried to double after Irish lincolnshire. It’s been two weeks between the competitions this time, giving more a chance of Orandi – which crossed traffic and 26 rivals in Curragh and is 4Lb well in a penalty. The Irish handicapper has since reassessed it to 97.
20. Beringer (6)
Callum Shepherd | Alan King
It’s been six years since he was third in Lincoln, and this will only be his third race since 2020. The issues have prevented his career and he returns from another long break here.
21. Darcey Darcey (5)
David Allan | Geoffrey arcker
This cal was a costly purchase (110,000 gn) by Roger Varian but is a four year old still looking up. The assumption is that this can be a well -known run, from a sign that he has been beaten in his last three beginnings.
22. Old Car (14)
Callum Rodriguez | Ed Bethell
He did not start until last April, making a lot in a short time, with three wins along the way, though along with hits were some humorous losses when he seemed to throw in the towel. He has the profile and physique of the one who will climb above as a four -year -old, but this is looking for a lot from him for the first time, in the strongest race he has faced.
JAMIE LYNCH JUDGMENT
He may not be as sexy as some but Whip He is still a classic contender for Lincoln as a four -year -old with a very strong form for his name. He is the price he is due to his loss (as a strong favorite) in the trial in Wolverhampton, who seems to be held against him. That is to say, it was close to win that messy race from his position, and so he gets the value of the vote here.
