Awaiting my skills against the best knights in the world is what I try for, so I’m very excited to be riding in Hong Kong on Sunday and again next Wednesday, Live in Sky Sports Racing, forward that to fly to Saudi Arabia to participate in the International Challenge of Jockeys.
I leave for the Far East with my husband Tom (Marquand) after boarding Southwell on Friday and with four winners of Hong Kong on my record, I am already looking forward to nine trips to JSC, which, as always, will be an amazing experience for us both.
The call came after injuries to four knights there last week including Zac Moron and Vincent Ho. We are both grateful for the opportunity to return much faster than we were expected to increase the numbers in the weighing room, but most importantly we hope they will soon return to action.
Dragon between the main chances
My second trip, Dragon four seas; Manfred Man’s four-year-old does not have the best traction at Stall 12, but ran well on this track from the difficult starting positions before.
A similar fate waits Billionaire In the Lotus Handicap (7.00 morning) over 1800m. Jimmy’s experienced gelding posted his best attempt for some time when the second over 2000 million on this track three weeks ago, so I hope he will hit the hard line in this shorter distance.
Kingdom Namjong A Handicap Naas for Stack Fozzy won last April last year from an estimate of 85, but has not yet found the niche in four Runs in Hong Kong. However, he completed his beautiful race in the last time, suggesting that he would appreciate the step on the journey to Marigold (7.35).
Thor can be built in the form of the shaft shaped in the feature handicap
Feature racing, Heung Yee Kuk (8.05 morning) handicap will be directed over 1600m which should testify to Danny Shuma’s ideal RomanticA consistent companion of the Namjong Kingdom who held a pleasant race on this track during the Christmas period over an additional 400 meters.
I start Sunday card over me tsui’s Bingo in the Daisy 1200m (5.00am) handicap. I will need a good start from stall two to improve the latest efforts about Happy Valley and connect with the same coach in Candle dinner In Osmanthus handicap (8.35 morning) over 1000m.
Francis lii’s Lucky gold Ran 1400m well for the last time, despite finishing only out of places, so it may be better able to better in Jasmine (6.00 am) while well -drawn Drako There will be claims defined whether he can translate his happy valley shape at 6.30am.
Another wide gate will not help Aeroinvinicble In the Primula Handikapin (9.10 in the morning) but Pierre’s four-year-old Ng showed the Get-GO raw speed to earn over 1400m in October, so we hope he will not disturb the fall.
Nice to connect with Hayes on Wednesday
I liked to ride for Hong Kong’s main coach David Hayes in past visits, so I am honored to connect with him again Wednesday when I hope to travel Auri in a 1200m handicap.
Another visible journey may be Cody Mo’s Flying Over 1650m. This four -year -old has not made the frame yet, but has stayed in his races on shorter trips, which is encouraging.
I am hoping to have eight trips to the mid -week match before flying to the Saudi for the day of opening the valuable Saudi Cup meeting on Friday when I will compete in the challenge of Diriyah’s international laps.
Taking the best in the world in the Saudi challenge
I will be one of the seven female knights competing against seven male motorcyclists for a $ 100,000 price in Riad. Among my opponents will recently be crowned the best Longine knight in the world James McDonald.
Also riding in the four -race challenge will be British champion Oisin Murphy and his compatriot Tadhg O’SHEA, who has been the main knight in Dubai for many years. The star -studied lining also contains the 2024 Maryline Eon winner of France, Rachel King, Christophe Soumelon and American legend John Velazquez, who has rode over 6,000 winners.
Next to an exciting day before the Saudi Cup match next Saturday and I am honored once again that I am representing my country in an international phase so soon after participating in the Hong Kong version again in December.
