Ian Machado Garry hopes to provide an explosive memory of his abilities when facing the Rival of Lightweight Carlos Prates in Kansas City on Saturday night.
After a close loss of the decision to Shavkat Rakhmonov in December, Machado Garry turns against Pras as he tries to receive his request for a title of good weight UFC.
Garry, nicknamed ‘Future’, It is planning to give a pronounced victory in the main event that will restore its reputation.
“This (Shavkat War) was so fun and I liked every second of it,” he told Sky Sports Mma Club.
“I liked the brief announcement (call), the excitement prepared for this boogeyman they called.”
“I’m much better than I believed I was. Go show the world. I don’t see Carlos Pates reaching until the second end (round) and if he does, a right game for him. But then I will not let him pass the third.”
Machado Garry’s period against Prasi comes just weeks before the current champion Belal Muhammad defending his good weight belt against Jack della Maddalena, who replaced damaged Rakhmonov.
Despite his loss to Rakhmonov, Garry believes he should still have been considered an opponent for Muhammad.
“I feel like when you wage a number of a contender, and fairly did not rise up and I do not believe I won the war, I believe it was 3-2 for the shavat.
“I irritated me that I didn’t even get the respect of a call to say, would you fight (Belal Muhammad for the UFC title)?”
Feelings of disappointment later were transferred to anger for the Irishman who was passed by someone with the latest damage problems in Maddalena.
“I was feeling, just having loved when I discovered that they were giving a boy who was injured and didn’t fight for a year. It was more of a respect for me,” he said.
“I know what Jack (Maddalena) has done and what Jack can do in this division. It’s not against him, but the boy has been fighting the damage.”
With the implications of the title in every war that goes ahead for Machado Garry, a statement performance is indispensable against the prints that have formed a victory with 11 fights.
Garry said: “April 26 when I knock Carlos prates, you will see (as I look for a shot title.) This is my way to do things, I don’t need to speak (constantly through social media). I don’t need to say it on your face, but I’ll say it after being in that microphone.
“The truth is (Maddalena) vs Belal is not as interesting as the Machado Garry vs Belal and this is the reality of the situation. I am much more interesting inside and outside the octagon. There will be more people paying for payments for views and more people paying to be in what they are in that arena (to) watch my main event.”
