He will lose the champions trophy due to damage to the lower back, with Harshit Rana called as his team’s replacement.
Varun Chakaravarthy has also been added to the squad, with spinner replacing Yashasvi Jaiswal. Jaiswal was originally named to the Provisional Team.

Non-guiding substitutes: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Mohamed Siraj and Shivam Dube. All three players will travel to Dubai as well as when required.
