IgA Swiatek stayed on the course for a fourth consecutive title in Qatar Open with a win over Elena Rybakina in the quarter -finals.
In a repetition of last year’s final in Doha, Swiatek was healed by a split in the second set to look for a 6-2 7-5 win.
Swiatte has become the first woman with the longest winning line in Qatar Open since the 2001 tour with 15 consecutive wins began.
“I am super happy, super proud of myself,” Pole said. “The second set felt like it raised its level, so I had to do it too.”
Rybakina started the year with a 4-2 advantage in her head against Swiatek, but now is the level as the two world number followed her victory in the united Cup last month with another success.
Swiatek started the competition much better, but Rybakina began to gain withdrawal with its strong service and shocks on the ground at the start of the second group, opening a 4-2 lead.
She could not maintain the advantage of why Swiatek recovered the holiday before clinking victory when Rybakina with two faults.
The second seed was joined in the last four from Ekaterina Alexandrova.
Russian, who reached Qatari confidently after winning the WTA Tour event in Linz, followed her second round victory over the number one World Aryna Sabalenka beating the sixth Jessica Pegula 4-6-1 6-1.
