Luke Doncic is being traded by Dallas Mavericks in Los Angeles Lakers for Anthony Davis in a stunning arrangement in the NBA, according to Espn AND Press Associated
Doncic, Maxi Kleber and Markieff Morris are directed to Lakers, while Davis and Max Christie are going to Dallas – the royal champions of the Western Conference – said the person who spoke with AP with anonymity because no team can notify the deal while waiting for approval of league.
Jazz Utah are also involved in the agreement, the AP source said.
EspnWhich reported for the first time trade, said that Jalen Hood-Schifino and two elections will be directed to Jazz.
It is an absolute blocker, with Doncic Set to join Lebron James in Los Angeles, and Davis now headed to Dallas to partner with Kyrie Irving.
“I believe the defense wins championships,” said Maverick’s general manager Nico Harrison Espn.
“I believe that getting a comprehensive center and an All-NBA player with a protective mentality gives us a better chance. We are built to win now and in the future.”
