Warrington Wolves will rename their stadium in honor of the world champion Luke Little for their home match of the new Super League season.
Littlelore’s life fan became the youngest winner of the Darts World Championship when he triumphed at the Alexandra palace in January, a few weeks before his 18th birthday.
Warrington, who closely lost to a place in the big final last year, is re -named Halliwell Jones as ‘Luke Little Stadium’ for their match with the Dragons Catans on February 21st.
Littler will be a guest of honor at night and will take the team out, and will show his world championship trophy about the field in half.
Littler said: “A dream come true that the club for which I was a worshiper since I was young has decided to name the stadium behind me for one night!
“Next to an absolute honor and I can’t thank the club enough.”
Tuesday’s announcement comes less than 24 hours before the start of the 2025 Super League official season, which you can follow directly from Wednesday to Sky Sports app.
Littler, meanwhile, begins protecting his title at the Premier League Darts on Thursday evening in Belfast, directly Heavenly.
Warrington chief of Wolves Karl Fitzpatrick said: “Luke’s achievements on the world stage have been nothing less than unbelievable, and we are extremely proud to celebrate his success with this special return.
“He is a true fan of Warrington, and therefore renaming our stadium in honor of opening our home is a suitable tribute.”
The Super League season begins on Thursday 13 February with the defense of champions Wigan Warriors awaiting Leopards Leigh, while Warrington begins their campaign for Huddersfield Giants on Sunday 16th.
