Mercedes have discovered their 2025 F1 car before the pre-season test in Bahrain as they start a new chapter without Lewis Hamilton.
Similar to Aston Martin on Sunday, Mercedes showed the full specification of their 2025 challenger after discovering his living last week at F1 75 live in London.
George Russell is convinced that Mercedes “will not fall into a trap” with their new car, with silver arrows only by winning five races since 2022, after winning eight consecutive constructors before this.
Young Italian Andrea Kimi Antonelli is Hamilton’s replacement and can be one of the most exciting leaders to see this season.
Mercedes ended the fourth in the Constructors Championship last year, but were strong in colder conditions, which were highlighted with one-two in the Grand Prix of Las Vegas towards the end of the season.
Pre-season testing F1 begins on Wednesday, directly Sky Sports F1.
“We open an exciting new era in the story of our team and Mercedes-AMG MOTORSSPORT in 2025. We are building on the extraordinary inheritance of our heritage, and we cannot wait to go to the competitions,” said the team director of the team Mercedes Toto Wolff.
“Everyone on the team, in Bracley and Brixworth, have been hard at work during the winter. Last season was very competitive on the out -of -season profits road, but we will only know where we stand first race in Australia .
“We have an exciting formation to help us achieve our goals. Both drivers have progressed through our new program and this is an excuse of our commitment to support and develop talent.
“George has proven that he is one of the best drivers on the network, capable of competing for the driver championship if we can give him a car capable of doing so. As an elderly driver, he will help In leading the team ahead and supports chemistry in its development.
“Kimi has all the talent needed to achieve great things at the height of the sport, but this is a novice season and will inevitably have landing -raising. We are looking forward to that trip together and helping to develop during the course of the year. “
