Andrew Novak shot 69 to move to nine under the second place. Tom Hoge (68) is in third place in eight under and Kevin Mitchell (73) is the fourth to seven below.
Chad Ramey (70), Sami Valimaki of Finland (70) and Ryo Hisatsune of Japan (73) all share fifth place.
Harman had bogeys in two of the first four holes. The birds at No. 14 and 17 took it on the right track.
However, the Late Round challenges included the need to clash for principle in the 16th hole of the 16th after his blow was on the rough.
Canada’s Corey Conners, a twice winner of the tournament, had worked on a catastrophic extension himself.
He started at the back and entered Eagle at No. 17, dividing third place in the manager’s table.
But Conners played his last two holes in three, with a double six at No 9.
