Like Woo Kim Kim of South Korea scored a five-year-old in the lead after the third round of RBC heritage with Tommy Fleetwood three shots outside the rhythm.
Kim enters the last round in Harbour Town Golf Links on 15th Nine 19, a clear from American duet Justin Thomas and Andrew Novak.
Thomas, who posted a 61 in the opening round, began the day with a two -stroke advantage, but could only mix four birds with two bogeys in one two under 69, while Novak matched Kim 66.
Kim, 29, is aiming at his fifth victory in PGA Tour, but his first in more than two years, though he could be left to withdraw his only Bogey to the 18th where Thomas, who was in the last pairing with him, made a bird.
Thomas was given a penalty with a shot in the second hole when he made the ball move into a waste bunker, though he still managed to escape a par.
Maverick McNealy (65) is fourth on 13 under, while Brian Harman (66) and Fleetwood of England (68) are connected to the fifth at 12 under.
Fleetwood was just one of the supremacy when he made his second bird of the day in the fifth, but Bogeys in the seventh and 10 stalled his progress, though he managed to play the last eight holes in two under the birds in 11 and 16.
Scheffler Scheffler defense champion fired 68, moving to 11 under and was linked for seventh place with Russell Henley (70).
