England’s duo Tom Curry and George Martin have returned to full training ahead of the third round of Saturday’s six nations against Scotland on Twickenham.
Steve Borthwick’s accusations go to the massive weekend clash in the Calcutta Cup, in the back of a loss of first round to Ireland in Dublin and victory over France in Twickenham for the last time.
The Tom Curry rear row has been in excellent form, but was ranked as ‘rehabilitation’ on last week’s training list, along with the second line Martin, who has been managing a knee injury.
Curry, 26, has managed a chronic hip state since Rugby World Cup 2023.
Both players returned to full training on Monday, though, as England looks to avoid a fifth loss of six nations to Scotland.
Elsewhere in the camp, Harlequins No. 8 Alex Dombrandt is called, while blocking Alex Coles and arm Henry Pollock are also brought. Hooker Curtis Langdon and Center Alex Lozowski have not been included in the last team with 36 players.

“There is good news in terms of team, after both Tom Curry and Lock George Martin have resumed full training.
“Curry’s work load was being managed last week, he does not have a damage as such, but George Martin has a knee problem. He is warming very carefully before he is trained today, so we will keep an eye on it as the week progresses.
“No 8 Alex Dombrandt has been added to the training team after an impressive Harlequins show against Saracens on the weekend, but he will do well to remove Tom Willis from the back after his impressive appearance against France.
“Another man who shone in that game was half Fly Fin Smith, Northampton’s player making his first start for England and was a match man a few weeks ago, and he is likely to start again.
“The man he replaced in 10 was Marcus Smith, who began with full and did not have his best game against France. Whether Steve Borthwick climbs in full or brings a more determined 15, the like of Elliot Dary or Freddie Steward, just to do things on his back is something that England could consider this week.
“In the bench, Jamie George and Ollie Chessum were particularly impressive and they will also put pressure on a start against Scotland.”
