Northern Ireland’s Tom McKibbin has made a switch to join Jon Rahm Liv League Legion XIII team, giving up the chance to play in PGA Tour this season.
Earlier called ‘Next Rory Mcilroy’ after greeted by the same Holywood golf club as the big four -time champion, McKibbin had provided double membership in PGA Tour and PD World Tour for season 2025.
But the Movement in Liv now sees McKibbin suspended to appear in PGA Tour, though he initially maintains his membership in the DP in World Tour and remains acceptable to try and qualify on the Ryder Cup of Europe later this fall.
The 22 -year -old claimed his title of Tour’s PD girls – in his novice season – at Porsche European Open in June 2023 and enjoyed a strong conclusion for last season, where he grabbed the last 10 PGA cards on the offer through the race for the Dubai rankings.
McKibbin was congratulated by Mcilroy after the Tour World Championship at the end of the season and said it was “exciting” to provide his PGA Tour privileges, despite numerous reports that already link it to a transfer to Livi’s clothing to rahm.
When asked about the prospect of joining Liv Golf, McKibbin refused to play rumors and said to Golf Digest: “I will not comment this week with no respect for Justin (Rose) and Luke (Donald) and that tour.
“It’s a team event, so I’m just trying to give the best for the team and see how many points I can get.”

Who else joined Liv Golf League for 2025?
The Tour Korean Order of Merit Yubin Jang’s winner has signed with Kevin Navin Heads GC for the new season, while Frederick Kattrup of Denmark – a three -time winner at PGA Tour Americas in 2024 – joining the Cleleks GC team captured by Martin Kaymer.
Chieh-Po Lee won the Liv Golf Promotion event with 36 holes to win his promotion at the Liv Golf League for 2025, although his team should not yet be confirmed, with some other formations that will still end before the season taking under way on February 6th.
Nine places, four continents and six new premises show up on a 14th event for the 2025 season, where RAHM is the royal individual champion and the Ripper GC and Cameron Smith’s team Ripper GC the Campions Champions.
