Amazon started the Alexa Fund in 2015 to support the beginning of sound in the early phase. In a post on the Amazon blog shared with Techcrunch before the publication, fund leader Alexa Paul Bernard explained that the company now wants to invest in fields including equipment activated with him and smart agents.
“While Alexa Fund’s mission has evolved beyond the initial focus on sound technology over the years, rapid developments in it represent a point of infection that allows the fund to embrace new technology while still serving its original mission,” Bernard said.
“As such, the Fund has invested in startups that advance art more in equipment activated with him, generating media, smart agents, developing architecture, and more. To plunge deeper into this strategy of investment evolution, we met with Paul Bernard, director of the Alexa Fund, to ask him for the renewable investment mission.”
The Fund has invested in four new startups working in different fields:
- Ninjatech he: This is an AI-in-one company that has a chatbot with the ability to generate code, images and videos, carry out deep research and plan meetings for you. Like the auxiliary platforms of him, including Quora’s poets, Ninjitech he offers access to models from open, meta, anthropic, Google and Deepseek. Amazon said the company runs its infrastructure at AWS.
- Honor: Hedra is a company that media that allows users to generate images, audio and video through her studio. The company recently began its character-3 character for different forms of content creation. Last year, the company collected $ 10 million from A16z Games Speedrun, Abstract and Ventures Index.
