About Jared Kaplan’s session
Kaplan will receive TC sessions: participants of the scenes on hybrid reasoning patterns – which balance the quick answers to simple questions with deeper processing for complex problems – and share knowledge of the anthropic risk governance framework to alleviate the potential risks of it. (Kaplan was appointed responsible official of anthropic scaling in October.)

Meet Kaplan
Kaplan has a very extraordinary resume. Before he founded anthropic, he spent 15 years as a theoretical physicist at Johns Hopkins University, exploring quantum gravity, field theory and cosmology. Since then, his research on the laws of scaling has been credited with the revolutionization of how the industry he understands and predicts the behavior of advanced systems. In fact, before the anthropic, Kaplan played a role in the development of GPT-3 and Codex in Openai; Meanwhile, in anthropic, Kaplan helped develop Claude, the family of his assistant company.
It’s been a wild trip to Kaplan and Company. The extraordinary anthropic growth has been driven by some major developments in recent months, including its onset of Sonet Claude 3.7 in the end of February, which the company described as its “its most intelligent model” and the first hybrid reasoning model that can handle simple and complex questions with the right processing time for each.
The company recently introduced an autonomous research skill and the integration of Google work space, turning Claude into what Anthropic has characterized as a “true virtual collaborator” for enterprise users.
(Anthropic is reported to be developing a feature of the Claude Voice Assistant to compete with similar offers from other companies.)
Unless, investors have noticed. In March, Anthropic announced that he had completed a new fundraising agreement that valued the company at $ 61.5 billion, from about $ 16 billion approximately a year ago.
