In the same way that the genome order determines the genetic composition of an organism, Bryan Johnson – the investor and founder after the DONE DIE Movement – wants to start the “Foodome” sequences.
“We will list” Foodome “, which means try 20% of foods that make up 80% of the American diet based on items we eat every day,” Johnson said on Thursday at the SXSW Festival in Austin.
Johnson is the founder and former Kernel of Kernel, a brain monitoring equipment, founder of the OS Fund, and the founder and former CEO of the Braintree e-commerce company.
Today, he is obsessed with finding ways to extend his life expectancy and preach that gospel to others. He has taken extreme measures, including transfusing his blood with that of his 17-year-old son and undergoing the treatment of shock therapy to obtain more night erections, which he says is directly related to health.
Most of his tips on life extension habits are easy enough to guess: get better sleep. Spend time with the community. Eat exercise healthy. But Johnson says it’s not as easy to eat healthy as you think.
“I want to be true to you. It is just very very difficult to buy clean food, ”he said, pointing out that most foods from grocery stores, even organic brands, could have toxins from various methods of processing.
Its purpose is to test as much food as possible and create a public database where people can donate money to try certain foods and brands for toxins such as heavy metals or microplastics. The results, he hopes, will keep the brands responsible for unsafe food practices.
The idea received a round of applause from the SXSW -filled audience, which eagerly participated in various Johnson’s respiratory exercises, makes them move around, and a longevity experiment involving balancing in one foot with closed eyes. (I did it up to 30 seconds – without any great work.)
Johnson has faced a lot of internet hatred for his eccentric philosophy that with the advent of him, we can be the first generation we should not die.
“We are giving birth to super intelligence. Thing is the biggest thing that is happening all over the world now, “Johnson said, adding that no existing ideology explains how to treat it and that the survival of our species is more guaranteed now that he has entered the picture.
“The human race would be wise to reburry its objectives (about him and) away from money at all costs not to die.”
In other words, as we debate the approximation of the human race, why not line it with the mission of preserving human life? Why not, he asks, to use him to introduce into millions of “find human level” to follow human progress and address the biggest challenges of aging?
It is a provocative question and what has attracted criticism from skeptics that argue that death is an essential part of being human.
Dr Andrew Stele, a longevity scientist, admits that eating and exercise helps prolong life, but that genetics – not extreme measures – plays a greater role in determining longevity.
But this perspective has not prevented Johnson from promoting “his project protocol”, his living formula to preserve what he says are the best biocarkers in the world. He is also marketing his line of supplements and foods. Its brand of olive oil is ironically – or appropriate – snake oil.
