Elisabeth Diana, head of communications in Deel’s human resources, is no longer with the company, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Bloomberg reported for the first time that Diana had resigned from Deel, who was recently accused of planting a spy in rival rival company.
Techcrunch reached Diana but had not heard again at the time of publication. Her LinkedIn profile shows that she began working in Deel (whose Director General of Alex Bouaziz was photographed above) in November 2021 and stopped working there in April 2025. She was previously chief of communications on Instagram and chief of corporate communications on Facebook.
“We are grateful for the work Elisabeth did while in Deel and wishing her the best in her future effort,” the company said in a statement.
Rippling, a workforce management platform, announced on March 17 that he was sueing Deel for the claim of spying, the level of levels ranging from the violation of the Rico re -establishment (it is often used to prosecute mafia members) until the abuse of trade secrets and unjust competition.
At that time, Rippling did not reveal the name of the employee in question, but this changed on April 2, when he issued a statement signed by the employee, Keith O’Brien, who seemed to confirm Rippling’s allegations.
Even more than the now prominent lawsuit rippling raised against Deel in March, O’Brien’s account reads as a script in a film about corporate espionage, completed with strict operation and a destroyed phone.
Deel’s future, which was last valued at $ 12.6 billion, remains in question. The start is supported by the likes of General Catalyst, Andreessen Horowitz, Spark Capital and Y Combinator. It was said to be watching public markets just two months ago.
Deel responded to Rippling’s lawsuit with a statement denying “all legal wrongdoing” and claiming that her rival was seeking to “move the narrative” from allegations that rippling themselves violated Russian sanctions. (O’Brien later said that with the encouragement of Deel’s leaders, he would make statements to various authorities, saying rippling was facilitating Russian payments – even though he knew those statements were false.
This post has been updated with a statement about Diana’s departure from Deel, and with more contexts about O’Brien’s statements.
