Google I/O, the largest Google developers conference of the year is ready on us.
Planned for May 20 to 21 at the Shoreliine Amphitheater in Mountain View, I/O will display product notifications from the entire Google portfolio. Waiting for a lot of news about Android, Chrome, Google Search, YouTube, and-Natural-Chatbot with that of Google, Gemini.
Here’s what to expect.
Gemini and he

Android 16
For the first time this year, Google is expecting a special event dedicated to Android updates: The Android Show. It will take place on Tuesday, approximately a week before I/O.
The latest version of Android, Android 16, will be the focus. Android 16 is expected to bring up improved announcements and a completely new design language, 3 expressive material. In a blog-leaked post, Google describes the 3 expressive material as a top-down adjustment, with a greater reaction and “action elements” that pop.
Android 16 is mainly an updating of the quality of life, judging by reports. It will introduce auracast support, which should make it easier to switch between Bluetooth devices. Also traction are the block screen equipment and a range of new access features.
Google can also attentive skills in the latest versions of Android XR, its mixed system of mixed reality and wear OS, company software for clothing.
Everything else
Going according to the official I/O schedule, Google will have enough to discuss after the show addresses Android and I/O Keynote.
The program lists the sessions dedicated to Chrome and Google Cloud, Google Play, Android Development Tools and Gemma, Google’s AI “Open” collection.
Last year, Google discovered some I/O theme surprises, including a group of well -regulated models for education applications called Learnlm. An update in Google’s viral podcast generation can be such a surprise. The flowing code reveals a “video summary” tool that would apparently create video compilation, most likely using Google’s Veo 2 video generation model.
