Google is distributing a host of new features – some powered by him – through research, maps and twins that are created to help people plan their summer vacation. The new features arrive while users are turned into tools as Openai’s chatgt for travel planning.
Google Search’s compilations, which display a photo of information on top of the results page, can now help users get travel ideas for certain regions or places. Starting this week, users can look for something like “create a itinerary for Costa Rika with a focus in nature”.
From there, you will be able to browse through photos and reviews and see places on an expandable map. When you are ready to save a itinerary, you can tap “export” to share recommendations through documents or gmail. Or, you can save them as a order list on Google Maps.
The new feature is available for English language questions in the CHEF on mobile and desktop.
Google is also making the gemini feature of gems available to everyone for free. A gem is a tool that allows you to create personalized experts for each task within Gemini. This means that users can now create a travel planner that can help them choose a destination to go and suggest what to pack.
In addition, while Google has allowed users to get alarms for price drops for some time now, it will now do the same with hotels. Users will now see a new opportunity to follow hotel prices for selected dates and destinations. You can choose filters for your hotel search, such as star ratings or beach access, for a specific area. If prices sit down, Google will send you an email.
Following hotel prices is starting globally this week in mobile and desktop browsers.

As for maps, Google is bringing the ability for users to turn their views into solid vacation plans. When planning a break, people often take pictures in the site places they want to visit, but sometimes they can forget these photos on their camera.
Now, users can give access maps to their photos to allow the app to automatically identify the places mentioned in your footage so that you can review and save what you want in a list. The places you save will appear on the map in order to get a summary of your plans.
This feature is coming out this week at the English SHBA in iOS, and will soon begin on Android.
