Podcastle Podcastle’s registration and editing platform is now joining other companies in the he-text-in-word competition, releasing its model called Asyncflow V1.0. An API for developers will also be available, allowing them to directly integrate the text model into speech into their applications.
Thanks to the new model, the company is able to offer more than 450 voices that can confess your text. The beginning said he developed technology and model in such a way that his training and conclusion costs are low, giving it an advantage against competitors.
With the movement, Podcastle joins an initial number, including elavenlabs, speech and wellaid, which have developed technology and models to turn any type of text into a voice clip transmitted by him. This technology includes cases of use of cases such as marketing, advertising, content creation, education and corporate training.
Podcastle’s founder, Arto Yerityan, told Techcrunch that the company had always wanted to build a text model in speech, but the cost of training and data requirements for this was very high.
“We wanted to build a strong text model in speech from our beginning. However, the development costs were very high. Thanks to the latest developments in the big language model, we were able to achieve a progress last year to reach a place where we could build a high quality voice model without the need for a ton of data, “Yerityan said.
The company was also assisted in its efforts by its $ 13.5 million Serie A fund last year.
Yerityan said that while Podcastle loads about $ 40 for 500 minutes of speaking text conversion, Elevenlabs loads $ 99 for the same.
Podcastle’s sound cloning feature is also getting an update to create a faster training process.
Previously, the training process included reading about 70 different sentences. Now, only a few seconds of recording from you to create a clone of your voice. The new process also used Magic Dust Dust Podcastle, which was released last year to improve the quality of audio recording.
In our testing, the voice created by the new process looked a little robotic, though it imitated our tone. The company said that, over time, it will improve the function. Plus, you can train different samples of your voice to get different results.
Podcastle said that in addition to costs, having audio, video, podcast tools and reinforced narrative with him under a redesign site will give it an advantage to competitors. Yerityan said that while most users use podcastle to work on audio content, the video is reaching it as well.
