Your usual Kirsten host has passed the brakes for me, Rebecca Bellan, for the day, and I want to talk about Aurora Innovation and its last minute saving.
Aurora had promised to launch the first full -fully autonomous commercial truck service in April this year, after postponing its original 2024 debut again. With only minutes (proverbial) to save, Aurora withdrew the victory.
Aurora says he ran over 1,200 miles of goods this week between Dallas and Houston with departure customers Motor Lines and Uber Freight. This is with a single truck, for now. Aurora plans to build up to “dozens of self-direction trucks” and expand to El Paso and Phoenix by the end of 2025 while continuing to run more transportation for customers with his autonomous supervised truck fleet.
There is a big step for aurora, and for the industry. But while Trump’s tariffs grind many shipments at stop, is Aurora well positioned to catch the moment, or can prolonged delays threaten her survival?

CanoBankruptcy procedures are still continuing, and now a mysterious investor in London has asked the judge to stop the sale of EV starting assets in her CEO, calling it a “flawed process”. He is throwing a $ 20 million offer for assets, which shakes the CEO’s offer of Canoo Anthony Aquila.

As we are on the topic of the Tesla Board, let’s turn our attention to the board member Joe Gebbia (which is also connected to Doge). Gebbia won about 4,000 Tesla stock shares worth $ 1 million, which is visible because it is so rare to see board members towards purchase shares.
