Google is drawing a new Gmail update that is created to help you find the email you are looking faster. The company announced on Thursday that it will now use it to take into account factors such as review, more clicked mail and frequent contacts when emails based on your search question.
So far, Gmail has simply displayed email in chronological order based on keywords.
“With this update, e -mail you are looking for are much more likely to be at the top of your search results – saving you valuable time and helping you find important information more easily,” the company wrote in a blog post.
Google is also introducing a new interruption so that people can pass among the “most important” or “most recent” electronic posts on a search results page. The prohibition is intended for users who prefer to see the search results displayed in chronological order, rather than the new predetermined “most important” option.
The update is coming out globally for users with Google’s personal account and is available online and in the Gmail app for Android and iOS. Google plans to expand the function to business users in the future.
The start of the new search functionality comes after Google has built its email offer to better compete with Apple’s Mail app, which received a host of Gmail -like features with IOS last year. For example, Gmail recently gained a twin energy feature that allows users to add events to a Google calendar directly from an email.
A few months ago, Gmail rotated “summary cards” that allow users to take action in their box, such as packets, controlling flights, setting memories, marking bills as paid, and more.
Gmail also introduced the ability for users to talk to Gemini about their box directly within the app both in iOS and Android.
